Fresh Milk

Got ya chair? How about your tea? One of my most favorite things in this world is Fresh Cows Milk, Raw is what people call it now.

How many years ago has it been that you all of a sudden couldn’t go buy Raw milk that wasn’t pasteurized? 1987: that’s when the government banned the sale of Raw, unpasteurized milk to people. Why would they do that? Why would humanity last so long with people drinking raw, fresh milk and then all of a sudden it’s unhealthy?

Because it’s easier to train the dumb and make them believe that the grocery stores and the government are your friends and have your best interest in mind. Fiddlesticks!!! Do you want to do your own research on why fresh is better for you, or how it was easier to change the entire system instead of fixing a root problem? Or do you want me to tell you???

Chances are Imma gonna tell ya anyway. Farmers decided that since most people were buying their milk from a supplier instead of having a milk cow themselves so farmers began to mass produce the milk, but in order to get to the numbers they needed they began to put their cows into unsantitary conditions that cause them to be sickly.

So first off, when you are sick you want to be well right? You go to the doctor who does tests to find out what is wrong with you and then gives you some medicines that 9 times out of 10 won’t cure your problem but will treat the symptons that you have and most likely cause you to have more side effects. So that’s more money right? Now back to the cows, they put them on concrete that they werent used too and a disruption to a lactating momma of any animal is distressing. So did the farmers treat the animal or change back to the way they were doing it 100’s of years previously?

Nope, you got that right! They only started to find a way to keep the mass production of milk, keep the lactating cows in the nasty conditions that caused them to be sick and started only finding a way to treat the milk that was being produced. The milk they came up with does not have the good bacteria in it that our stomachs were used too or need for the correct balance that God designed us to function properly.

The good bacteria in milk is used to consume the bad bacteria and prevent us from having some stomach issues, IBS, being Lactose Intolerant. The reason you are diagnosed as Lactose and Intolerant to milk is because your stomach doesn’t know what to do with itself so it stays upset.

So let’s keep the cows in disgusting conditions and boil the milk they produce so we can keep making it, and making it unhealthier for the human consumption. But you don’t think about it like that! I am all for the animals that were put on Earth to supply us our needs. But that doesn’t mean they do everything to supply us what we need to live so we can mistreat them and allow them to be sick and not treating it naturally. I don’t want a bunch of medicated milk. But I want natural. I want to be able to treat my cows good and healthy so they will supply me with a fresh, healthy supply of milk.

What all can you get from a gallon of milk that is fresh that doesn’t come from store bought milk?

Cream: The goodness that comes with fresh milk when left sitting you will see the difference. The cream on the top and milk on the bottom. What can you do with the cream besides cream? Put it on your cereal, in your coffee etc. But guess where your butter comes from? That’s right. The cream. You can make butter in a blender believe it or not. But what happens after the cream is gone or turned to butter?

Don’t throw out the liquid that comes off of your butter! Fresh homemade buttermilk. Make ya some biscuits and gravy with that or cornbread… Use your fresh made butter on a warm toasty biscuit.. Yummy.

But we aren’t done yet. There is still milk that was under the cream right?? What do you do with it besides drink it? Dehydrate it for milk powder for homemade ranch dressing?! What??? Yep! Or for milk powder for infants instead of formula.

Did you know you can boil fresh milk and add lemon juice and make sour cream? Or you can also make cream cheese? What about boiling it and adding vinegar to make Cottage Cheese?

Don’t forget with an abundance of raw milk you can make your own Sweetened Condensed Milk, Evaporated Milk, ½ and ½, Custard, Coffee Creamer.

The sky is the limit with what you can make yourself and guess what, all you had to have was lemon juice and or vinegar, and you can make your own vinegar!

So the next time that you are at the store, look at a can of sweetened condensed milk and read the ingredients: Your home made sweetened condensed milk will have: Whole milk (which means you leave the cream on, don’t take it off), a little sugar or honey for sweetness, options for taste can also be added butter or homemade vanilla.  2 to 4 ingredients versus whatever you find in a can at the store. It’s unbelievable I know.

I had to learn all of this on my own, I am willing to teach you learn how to make your own kitchen goodies and be healthier doing so. Way less ingredients or preservatives. We all want to live better lives. Give your stomach a healthy dose of good bacteria and guess what? You have opened the door to so many more things you can make simply in your kitchen!
